This is the historic home of Edward VII and Lillie Langtry. In a country packed with over 10,000 hotels, very occasionally you stumble on a rare gem of a hotel where the building, food, service and history, blend to form something quite exceptional. This warm inviting home is not only steeped in history and romance, but offers the highest standards of fresh food and personal service.

All the bedrooms are individually designed and many of them have four-poster beds and Jacuzzi baths. Lillie paid particular attention to Edward's suite when designing the house. A spacious room with high ceilings contains the royal bed alongside a beautiful wooden fireplace. Lillie's own suite includes a heart shaped bath and romantic balcony.

The magnificent dining room with its minstrels' gallery, inglenook fireplace and stained glass windows has to be seen to be appreciated. Soak in the historic and romantic ambiance of the restaurant whilst enjoying the award winning cuisine prepared by Head Chef Chris Corbett. Sunday to Friday offers candlelit fine dining in the AA Rosette award winning Langtrys Restaurant. The famous Saturday 6 course Edwardian Banquet, as featured on BBC Holiday Programme, has been popular for over 25 years and is an occasion not to be missed.

The main building is accompanied by Lord Derby's Home, the Langtry Lodge, where rooms are allocated and it is situated 50 yards away. Recently voted as the 'Best Hotel in Bournemouth', the Langtry Manor is THE Country House Hotel in Bournemouth.
