About Us

 
Rumsey Holiday Homes has been established for over 70 years, letting holiday accommodation in Sandbanks, Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

We are not a large national concern and can, therefore, offer a more comprehensive, specialised and personal service to our clients.

Our reputation is built on professionalism, and our expert staff are friendly and helpful.

Occupation Charges and Seasons
The Occupation Charge includes any charges for gas and electricity unless otherwise stated in the property description. Any extra services provided will be mentioned in the description. Weekly Occupation Charges are shown under each property for Low, Mid and High Season respectively.

Short Breaks
These are not generally available. However, where a Short Break can be offered, the following rules apply:
 
1. A flat rate of 70% for up to 4 nights.
2. Short Breaks CANNOT be booked more than 4 weeks before the holiday date.
3. No 'Priority entitlement' in subsequent years.
4. Payment by card or cash on booking (i.e. provisonals are not held for 7 days).
5. Short Breaks are not generally available in High or Low Seasons.
 
2010 Season Dates
 
High Season: (One period) 3rd July to 4th September. (9 weeks)
Mid Season: (Four periods) 27th March to 10th April (2 weeks), 8th May to 3rd July (8 weeks), 4th to 25th September (3 weeks) and 16th October to 30th October.
Low Season: All Other Dates (except Christmas and New Year).
 

Prices on request for Christmas and New Year. For Friday Bookings, the above dates are brought forward one day.

Method of Payment
We are able to accept the 4 major debit/credit cards. Cheques are also acceptable (please allow 7 working days for clearance).

We regret we are UNABLE to accept American Express cards.
