It is also just a few minutes' drive from many fine sandy beaches and from the New Forest, famous for its wild ponies, The 900-year-old Priory Church and Christchurch Harbour are within strolling distance and the railway station is just 10 minutes' walk away, yet this is a quiet spot in which to enjoy a tranquil break. The property itself, which takes its name from the mill stream flowing at the rear of the property, provides attractive boutique-style, en suite bedrooms with large, sumptuous beds, flat-screen Freeview TVs and free Wi-fi, hairdryers, bottled water and generous hospitality trays; one room is on the ground floor.

Delicious home-cooked breakfasts are made from locally sourced produce and organic free-range eggs, and include dishes such as smoked haddock and smoked salmon with poached eggs as well as traditional English breakfasts and freshly brewed coffee.
