The Chines is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac backing onto the woodland of Alum Chine. A ten minute stroll down the wooded path of the nearby Chine brings you to the sandy beaches of Alum Chine & offers picturesque views of the Isle of Wight, Old Harry Rocks & the Purbecks.

Our Pool

With relaxation in mind, we are pleased to offer the use of an indoor heated swimming pool which is open daily for hotel guests from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

The pool is 5' 3" / 1.6 metres in depth.

For your safety please note:

We do not have a lifeguard on duty

Non-swimmers are not permitted access to the swimming pool area

Children must NOT be left unattended in the swimming pool area or garden at any time

Guests are kindly requested to provide their own swimming towels

The pool is not available from 31st October - 31st March when it is closed for the winter.
