The Silver How is a family run "Home-from-Home" just 100yds from the Cliff Top, which allows for some fantastic panoramic views, and is situated in one of the most enviable and  favoured positions in the West Cliff area of Bournemouth. It's located in a peaceful and quiet area that is only minutes from the heart of the town, with it's beautiful sandy beaches, superb shopping facilities and attractions, including daytime family fun and evening entertainment for all ages. It is within walking distance (a ten minute stroll) to the pier, and the nearby Bournemouth International Centre that hosts stars of the stage and screen, International conferences, shows, top music and dancing, and recently we have welcomed the "Red Arrows" during an incredibly popular three day air show - not to be missed!! 

Extremely beneficial to the Silver How is the closeness of the Zig-Zag Path at the Cliff Top, which gives easy access to the beach for wheelchair users and young families alike,  (no steps to contend with). There is also a lift at the cliffside just a bit further along which operates through the summer months, for people that may be unable to walk either up or down the cliffside - (tempting for anyone to use at the end of a long and tiring day!).

For the more energetic - you couldn't wish for a more beautiful setting to catch the early morning rays of sunshine whilst strolling along the promenade, to jog or run along the beachfront, to cycle along the prom, to join the brave and hardy for an early morning swim, or to simply sit and  watch the world go by and capture the ambiance -  you won't want to go home! 

There is an abundance of 'things to see and do' around the local area including museums and gardens, various golf courses, the Oceanarium,  Compton  Acres, boat trips, moors valley country park, a visit to the New Forest -  there's something for everyone. We are a perfect base!
