Wimborne

To the north of Poole lies the market town of Wimborne famous for is Saxon Minster church and other fine examples of 15th,16th and 17th century architecture.

The nearby National Trust property of Kingston Lacy is a splendid Edwardian mansion built by the Bankes family after their ancestors were forced to vacate Corfe castle in 1663.
